Harrogate Montpellier Pétanque Club

We are an established Pétanque Club located in the centre of Harrogate. Interest in the sport continues to grow and there are lots of opportunities to get involved.

Club Play

Winter play continues on Sunday Mornings from 11-00 am long as it is dry and not too cold!.

From 1st March 2017: 

- Monday/Wednesday afternoons from 2.00pm (U3A Groups + Club Members)

- Friday lunchtimes from 11-30am

From 28th March 2017  - clocks go forward 

- Tuesday/Thursday Evenings from  5-30 pm

6th Feb: 24 Members attend Club AGM at the offices of ouir main sponsors - Ellis Bates Group.

3rd Feb: Club receives £300 Small Grants Award approved by  Harrogate to improve facilities at The Pierhead 

 May 1016 - Montpellier Magic win Harrogate Invitational Triples

 Harrogate MPC's team of Sue Couture, Nigel Clay and Charles Stewart won the CNG Trophy at the Pierhead on Saturday 21st May 2016.

A resounding 10-0 victory over Wetherby PC in the semi-final was followed by a more closely contested game against Huddersfield Greenhead PC but still running out 13-8 winners!


12 September 2015 - Club members say farewell to mascot, Shane, who has now completed puppy training for Guide Dogs for the Blind with Charles Stewart. Shane has been a regular spectator at Club sessions for the past year.
